Pyrmont.Full Job DescriptionThe Beagles are on the hunt for a versatile Data Engineer/ Architect who is looking for an empowered position, high profile projects and flexible hours. 

COMPANY

  • Leading Digital Publisher: With over six digital titles with big growth plans. 
  • Lean Product Team of 25: The unit’s culture is akin to a digital agency, or a startup.

ROLE

  • Manage API. From internal and external sources from their BI System using Python Pandas. 
  • Work in Cloud: Our client uses Google Cloud Platform (Big Query, Datprep, Cloud Storage Google Script).
  • Team:  Lean minded and inclusive. This role reports to the head of BI, and the total sub-team is 25.
  • Contract: 3-6 Month Contract with the potential for full-time. 

YOU:

  • Data-Driven: BI and Data have been a focus in your career.
  • Looking for: You are looking contract role with an opportunity to progress to full-time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-10 + Years experience(at least two as a Data Engineer
  • Cloud Experience: Google ideally, but they would consider experience from similar providers such as AWS, IBM Cloud, MS Azure, Oracle Cloud) 
  • Stack: Strong Python, Ideally experience working on Pandas. Also, solid experience running strings on SQL.
  • Working rights for Australia. (Essential, no sponsorship available)
